A Sneak Peak at Gem and Matt’s Festival Wedding

I’m not going to lie to you, I hadn’t heard of The Oak Grove in Upchurch, Kent when Gem and Matt booked me for their wedding, but I know all about it now that’s for sure. It has got to be one of the wedding worlds best kept secrets.

What an amazing wedding venue. This place has pretty much everything for a relaxed festival wedding. The Oak Grove only takes 22 summer weddings a year, which means your wedding is pretty unique and as far from a wedding factory as you can get…right up my street!

After a gorgeous drive through the Kentish lanes you reach The Oak Grove and you are greeted by gorgeous views of the river estuary, a secluded woodland with ‘living willow’ ceremony area, and my favourite bit horse-box toilets and playstation room, best thing I’ve seen in ages at a wedding venue.

It’s easy to see why Gem and Matt a couple of country bumpkins picked The Oak Grove for their wedding day. This pair of love birds were so relaxed it made it so easy to be part of their big day at this beautiful festival wedding venue. I love to feel part of the day and chat away with a bride and grooms friends and family throughout the day, it makes it so much easier to get close and take great photos.

So thanks Gem and Matt for a great day and here a few sneak peaks of your awesome wedding at The Oak Grove. If you are looking for a Kent wedding photographer please do GET IN TOUCH soon, as like The Oak Grove I only shoot a limited number of weddings each year and 2020 is selling out fast!!
