Kerri and Jon’s Sneak Peak
As wedding venues go, you can’t beat a freshly mown field in the heart of the Kent countryside. Rustic country weddings are definitely on the up, and I love using my documentary style photography to make sure my couples will have that memory locked away forever.
Hay bales, a hog roast and their very own barrel of bitter set’s the scene for Kerri and Jon’s wedding this past weekend. The new Mr and Mrs Lindfield were married at St Peter and Paul Church in Leybourne and held their wedding reception near Meopham in the aforementioned field. There was of course also a marquee and all the modern amenities…it wasn’t that rustic. Although the best man’s speech did use some of the most rustic language I’d heard in a while which is sadly missing from most of the speeches I hear these days. So well done Spencer, you made me laugh 🙂
Kerri and Jon were both full of smiles from start to finish (yes I know it was their wedding day, but it’s not always like that you know, well mostly it is). It was really nice flicking through all the images on my computer the following day to find pictures for this blog and seeing them so happy all day. My absolute favourite photograph from the day is the one of Kerri, Jon and the kids all singing and dancing to Ed Sheeran during the first dance, it’s enough to make your heart melt.
Below you can find a sneak peak of this rustic country wedding, and keep a look out for the full blog in the coming weeks. Please feel free to comment below and share around the interweb, I’d love to hear if the strict dance floor rules were followed all night.
If you are having a country wedding, or any wedding for that fact, please GET IN TOUCH and we can talk about how some choice language can really brighten up a best man speech 🙂
