Robyn and Chay at Sprivers Mansion
Relaxed and informal photography was the request from Robyn and Chay for their wedding at the gorgeous SPRIVERS MANSION near Tonbridge in Kent. My documentary wedding photography suited their day and the venue perfectly.
To get to the mansion you drive up an unassuming tree lined driveway and then park in a neatly mown field next to the equally neat gardens, which by the way you can visit as part of the National Trust throughout the summer months. Robyn and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the huge bedroom on the first floor which you reach via a beautiful wooden staircase which ended up helping me produce one of my favourite images of the summer months, I am sure you can guess which one I am talking about as you scroll through the pictures below. By the time I reached Robyn and her crew the party was well under way with vodka and laughs flowing in abundance. I have never seen a wedding with so many happy laughing pictures to look through afterwards. Robyn and Chay are the masters of pulling unintentional funny faces, and it made for some great photos throughout the day. Robyn’s face as she has her dress tightened and Chay’s face during the best man speech are two of my personal favourites. The laughs and smiles were constant through the day, even during the ceremony.
Sprivers Mansion is a great summer wedding venue and was the perfect back drop for a great wedding for two amazing people. If you want to read more about the day then head on over to MY BLOG and if you want to chat in person or come down to my country abode for a cup of tea then please do GET IN TOUCH it would be great to hear from you.
I hope you enjoy the photos, don’t forget to like and share around the world wide web!
