Chloe and Josh’s Wedding Sneak Peak

Chloe and Josh’s wedding reception was my first outing at LONGTON WOOD WEDDING VENUE, and this woodland wonderland certainly didn’t disappoint. Longton Wood is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the North Downs in Kent, just outside of Detling in Maidstone. After driving through the country lanes and down a long track you arrive at a woodland walk, it is like something straight out of Narnia, you expect fairies and lions to appear at any moment. The path winds through the trees and is lined gorgeous with lights all the way down to a marquee in the clearing. It was a truly stunning wedding venue for a stunning couple.

Most of my weddings come through recommendation, which I feel says a lot for my photography but also for my professionalism, and this is exactly how I met Chloe and Josh after Chloe attended a wedding I was shooting at Chilston Park last year. I love shooting weddings like this because we have already formed a relationship and I am more often than not absorbed into the wedding fold as if I was a friend, or at least a second cousin 🙂 This means I can get closer to the action and therefore shoot better photos for my clients because I have blended into the background. Although this closeness sometimes has it draw backs as it was tough not to accept that free Jaeger Bomb (don’t drink and drive kids) when the boys started to kick the evening off in the now seemingly traditional wedding way.

Below is a sneak peak from a steaming hot day which started with wedding prep at Camilla and Matt’s beautiful home where Chloe was surrounded by her family and friends (my favourite way to start the day), the ceremony took place at All Saints Church in Frindsbury, Medway where I saw the whitest legs on a vicar you are ever likely to see and then on of course to Longton Wood wedding venue in Detling. If you would like to see more of my wedding head on over to my PORTFOLIO PAGE, and if you want to have a chat about your fairytale wedding at Longton Wood wedding venue then just GET IN TOUCH.

Please keep an eye out for the full blog of Chloe and Josh’s special day and as usual please like, share and comment all over the world wide web for me, your efforts are much appreciated 🙂
