Becky and Tom’s Sneak Peak from Elvey Farm
For those of you that remember the television programme the Darling Buds of May, that essentially, is not far off the setting that greets you at Elvey Farm in Egerton, Kent. In fact it is only a few miles away from the where the programme was filmed actually, but I digress.
More importantly than chatting about Ma and Pa Larkin is talking about the very new Mr and Mrs Cordiner’s country wedding. I probably do say this about all my couples, I guess I am lucky that way, but Becky and Tom are just the loveliest people, and their daughter Phoebe is a little ray of sunshine, apart from when she is tired and crying through wedding ceremonies, but that all adds character and personality to the wedding day in my view 🙂
Elvey Farm is the perfect choice for a relaxed country wedding and my style of documentary wedding photography. The venue has numerous bedrooms so Becky and Tom both got ready at the venue which I think is always a nice touch, and it also enables me to get photos of both sides of the day. The poor old grooms are often forgotten about on the big day. Definitely worth thinking about if you are in the process of looking for a wedding venue. After all I wouldn’t have got the chance to take pictures of him in his personalised pants otherwise.
Becky and Tom’s day was filled with loads of laughter, bird seed confetti…yes you read that right, and even a sports day which quite frankly got well out of hand when the big boys got involved. So here is a sneak peak from their day, and stay tuned for the full blog in the coming weeks.
If you are thinking of having a country style wedding at Elvey Farm or any other venue for that matter please GIVE ME A SHOUT, and I would live it if you could comment and share this blog all over the world wide web.
